So, obviously I'm not much for making any kind of art any more. (implying I ever did lmao)

What am I up to these days? A lot of contract work. I'm a C#/.NET contractor so there's been a good bit of travel for me in the last year.
Also activism. The political environment is very demanding recently, I've been lucky enough to keep up my work with the CYM ( cym.ie ) while working.
And finally some passion projects, which are on github. One that I'm really hoping to improve is gpdb github.com/Avitus27/gpdb

It me!

Sorry I've neglected DA: college, work and other life responsibilities have gotten in the way.

So where have you been?

Like I said, life. I started college, studying Computer Science in UCC. At the moment I'm working in Cisco Systems, Galway until September. It's a regular 9-5 deal but wow, being a code-monkey can really take it out of you.
Nowadays I spend my free time cooking and watching an unhealthy amount of TV and YouTube (ever since I got a Chromecast at least).

Are you still doing art?

Unfortunately I haven't done photography (artistically at least) in a long long time. I still love art though and I'm constantly looking for new artists to follow. I just tend to follow them on tumblr :/
That being said, a new city is starting to inspire me. I've done a bit of sketching and next time I'm back home I'll be grabbing my camera to bring back to Galway. There's a lovely area called Rinville near where I live and I'm going to have to do some nature photography there sometime.
So expect photos and sketches soon!

You've been gone a while, I liked your style before, will you have changed a lot?

Photography-wise? Not a whole lot. I still love maro shots and nature. I'm always trying to learn more though so don't be surprised if I start posting images of animals, scenery and people too
Sketch-wise? Yes, a lot. I think I've gotten better at least and I plan on continuing to improve. Please send me and critiques, comments or suggestions you have as this is a medium I haven't properly practiced since I was a lot younger.
Finally, I plan on taking up a bit of watercolor painting too. Let's see how that goes.

So where did your profile go?

Around the time I stopped using DA I completely wiped my profile, including submissions and personalizations. Why? I was extremely depressed and became incredibly critical of all my work. I'm not saying that now I think that some of it was great but I definitely over-reacted. It's something that CBT help's you overcome though, so it's unlikely that'll happen again. Don't worry, I'll put some work into my profile so it doesn't look so barren anymore :3

Anything else?

One last thing: I've been heavily involved in politics in the past year. I'm really loving working with my community and interacting with grass-roots movements in my area as well as communicating with local elected representatives. It's very possible this could be a career path for me in the future but I'll try to not let it influence my art too much.
